Meet Planar's Executive Leadership Team

Sidney Rittenberg

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Rittenberg serves as CEO of Planar and NaturalPoint (dba OptiTrack) under his direct leadership of the Leyard International Business Group. Previously, Mr. Rittenberg held various leadership roles across AV, manufacturing and consulting industries, in addition to serving as a partner in private equity investment. He has a proven track record delivering vision and execution in senior management, supply chain, product development through manufacturing, branding and M&A. In Mr. Rittenberg’s earlier years, he provided strategic consulting directly to CEOs of some of the largest Fortune 500 multinational companies across such industries as high-tech, energy, finance, government relations and manufacturing. Mr. Rittenberg's more recent tenure included VP at multi-billion dollar Foxconn group with responsibilities covering many of its US operations.

Stephanie Hines

Executive Vice President & General Counsel

Ms. Hines joined Planar in 2019 as General Counsel and was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2022. Prior to joining Planar, Ms. Hines worked in-house at Biamp Systems and CLEAResult. Prior to that, she worked in private practice, primarily as a business litigator at Perkins Coie LLP. She graduated from the University of Sioux Falls with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication and received her JD from Lewis & Clark Law School.

Tani Klein

Vice President, North America Sales

As Vice President of North America Sales, Mr. Klein oversees the company’s geographic territories and vertical market teams across the US and Canada. He is a proven, solutions-oriented sales leader who has held multiple sales positions and played a key role in helping execute new sales strategies as well as expand the company’s customer base. He joined Planar in 2014 after serving a range of technical, sales and operations-based roles at Primeview, where he opened the company’s first US office.

Joe Selberg

Vice President, Operations

Mr. Selberg is an experienced operations and technology leader and serves as Vice President of Operations for Planar. With over 20 years at the company, Mr. Selberg has held a range of roles spanning design engineering, project management, business development, IT applications, and operational roles focused on process improvement. He brings technical expertise and a strategic vision to drive operational excellence. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

William Geng

Vice President, Strategic Projects

Mr. Geng has been Vice President of Strategic Projects for over 20 years, leading projects for key customers. He has been responsible for the creation and deployment of some the company’s most complex installations around the globe including CNN Studios in Washington DC and Hudson Yards, NBC Studios across the US, multiple NBC Olympic Studios and the stunning 2008 Summer Olympics’ Open Ceremony that featured the memorable huge LED scroll on the ground with five interlocking Olympic rings. Mr. Geng holds a Bachelors of Science in Electronic Engineering and a Masters of Science in Electronic Engineering.
